Reopened and Renamed:
* On Trays Food Emporium has reopened as Sheckter’s Deli, 38 Fitzherbert Street (it’s a Jackson Street building).
Temporarily Closed:
* Jackson Street Burger Co.., 237 Jackson Street – is temporarily closing after 1 September until mid-September and will reopen with a new name, etc.
Moving Premises:
* NZ Post Shop, is moving from 207 Jackson Street (closing 4 Sept.) to Unichem Petone Pharmacy, 242 Jackson Street, and will be open for business Monday-Saturday as from 5 September. Post boxes are moving to the former Wellington Mail Centre (now Bunnings), 47 The Esplanade.

* ‘Walk of Champions’ plaque-unveiling ceremony, Saturday 28 September, 10am outside Hansa Dairy: 278 Jackson Street. We will be honouring two crews from the Heretaunga Boating Club. This is a Heritage Month event.
